Self motivation: "Awakening in positive"

Ana Casares tells us how to motivate us when we wake up to train better

What is the first thing that comes to your head when you wake up?

What happens as the minutes pass?

The alarm sounds. Some days I hear an inner voice: five more minutes. Other days I take the first steps as a zombie until the toilet, the cold water sparks me and the thing already changes.

What thoughts and feelings come to you every morning?

How much motivating and positive is that first moment of the day?

At sight I have clothes ready to run. I imagine the route that I will make. In a few minutes I feel the first strides.

Waking up is my positive start-up habit. I breathe the sunrise. The best ideas and purposes for the day flow. And at times when my focus was on the competition, I did a whole session of training on foot or swimming according to the days.

As you wake? What does that awakening say about you?

If fatigue appears, the night rest may be insufficient or ineffective and sleep, rest and daily stress should be reviewed.

If laziness and reluctance arise, maybe you have to value your self motivation.

The other day in a process of accompaniment, an athlete shared with me the following objective: I would like to wake up motivated to train.

It is something that I observe in many people, and in myself.

Strolling, running, breathing, seeing the sunrise, telling you nice things, challenging yourself, smiling, saying good morning, giving or receiving a hug, dancing, listening to music, are some options.

Connecting yourself to awakening can be a first step to a positive journey.

And in this connection I invite you to listen to the body: how is the posture, and breathing, what areas of the body are more relaxed or more tense.

And listen to the mind: what messages do you say? How much positive is there in them?

Why not find your resource?, the one that works for you And that it becomes a habit that generates self-motivation.

It works for me to wake up running. I listen to my body, I focus the day, I enjoy the sunrise, I breathe. While everyone is sleeping, I dedicate some time to my dreams.

And to you, what works for you, or what do you think can work for you?
