Improve swimming with COMPEX

The electrostimulation can help strengthen the main muscles involved in this sport, getting a plus strength and improving endurance.

Our collaborator COMPEX Tells us how to use your product to achieve an improvement in the performance of swimming.

Swimming is an activity in which you have to train a lot of technique to slide correctly through the water. In this discipline, electrostimulation can help strengthen the main muscles involved in this sport, achieving a greater strength and improving resistance.

Muscles:

Main muscles:

Dorsal width and glutes

Secondary muscles:

Abdominals / lumbar, biceps, flex / extensors of the hand, chest, quadriceps, deltoid, trapezius, triceps

Programs:

Main programs:

Strength resistance and Anaerobic

Secondary programs:

Strength and capillarization (complementary)

On days when there is less voluntary training load, apply the stimulator to the main musculature, applying Anaerobic programs between 3 level to 5 (2 days) plus a third day with the 1-3 F-Resistance program on the same musculature.

The days with the most voluntary load, at the end of the session, combine with electrostimulation on that most secondary muscle (at the rate of 3 muscle groups per day, even if the work time is not over), mainly with strength-resistance programs at the 2 level. 4 or capillarization (1 day a week).

We must start with the intensity that is comfortable for us, and go up week by week.

Likewise, active recovery programs (provided that they do not spend 3 hours from the activity), or stretching can be applied in those muscles most resented by the effort (in specific cases).

The anti-pain programs can be used in those cases when feelings of pain or overload appear (TENS or descontracturante).
