Compex has designed a training program for mountain bike inetgrando electrostimulation

 Today we want to share with you the 6 weeks of this 3-month specific training for mountain-bike, designed by COMPEX

The planning of 12 weeks of duration proposes to carry out the two sessions of greater volume during the weekend, period with greater availability of time for most cyclists. The planned training days can be changed, but always leaving the two sessions of work with electrostimulation for days in which there is no bicycle training. Today we share the first six weeks with you!

ADJUSTING INTENSITY WILL BE THE KEY TO SUCCESS

For training programs, which are true strength training, the appropriate intensity will be the maximum tolerable. The intensity directly determines the amount of muscle fibers that are activated, so the more muscle fibers we activate, the greater the strength gain we will obtain, and therefore, the better performance. The contractions must be powerful but bearable.

Remember:

  • Respect the placement of the electrodes as well as the polarity (+ and -).
  • Change regularly electrodes (a worn electrode loses conductivity, reducing effectiveness and comfort to the session).
  • Increase the intensity of each 3, 4 or 5 contractions (The aim of a session should be to overcome the maximum intensity achieved in the previous session.If you make a voluntary contraction at the same time as the contraction of Compex, the feeling will be more comfortable)
