Three trainings to improve in Ironman by Saleta Castro

Saleta has told us some of the most trusted training to compete at a high level.

 

 

Saleta Castro, club triathlete ITZU TRI TEAM He tells us several of his favorite cycling and walking race trainings to get confidence in front of a long distance test like the Ironman.

With regards to swimming he likes the following training very much:

Swimming a workout that I usually like a lot is 3 × 800 rhythm desc-40 "race and 6 × 400 a little faster desc-25"

For her one of the ones that gives her the greatest confidence and security to know that she is in full guarantees to be able to compete in the marathon of an Ironman is the following training:

Running a key training for me is to make 32km 5 "slower by 1.000 than I expect to run the Ironman marathon, this would be to 4'30.

And another of his key training in his preparation is this one cycling and running transition:

A key transition would be 80km of bike and then between 24-28km on foot.

Saleta plans to run the Lanzarote Ironman next 20 in May.
