Emilio Aguayo and Marta Gallart are proclaimed Triathlon Champions of the Valencian Community
Emilio Aguayo, from the Komando 22ers team, were awarded the Autonomous Triathlon Championship of the Valencian Community, held in Antella, in which Marta Gallart, from the CD Universidad Politécnica de Valencia, won the women's category.
Aguayo took the victory with a clear victory over his rivals in the Antella Triathlon, one of the most important events on the calendar of the Triathlon Federation of the Valencian Community.
The Komando 226ers triathlete beat Víctor Candel, from Tragaleguas.org, at the finish line in 1 minute and 24 seconds, while Manuel Lloret, also from the Komando 226ers, completed the podium 1 minute and 46 seconds behind the winner.
Gallart climbed to the top of the podium in the Autonomic with a comfortable victory over Laia Escobedo and Eliana Krist Sotelo, who starred in a nice duel for second place.
Finally, Gallart, from CD Universidad Politécnica de Valencia, beat Laia Escobedo, from Saltoki Trikideak, and Eliana Krist Sotelo, Lobos Triathlon, who finished in second and third position, respectively.
The competition, organized by the Antella Sports and Cultural Center, brought together nearly 500 triathletes in the twenty-third edition of this event. EFE
