Opening of inscriptions XXVI TRIATHLON SPRINT CALIFAS DE HIERRO

This Monday, and under a quota of 500 participants opened inscriptions the sprint distance of the Posadas Triathlon.

On August 24 Sunday, Posadas will once again host the Andalusian triathlon. Already last year he lived in the streets a level of heart attack to host the headquarters of the Spain Middle Distance Championship, and this year he did not want to be less and celebrate his two distances again.

The 8h will start the middle distance test, being the same Andalusian Championship of the Modality. Under the distances of 1900m of swimming, 90km of cycling and 21km of running, this, which is already the third edition of Calima Desafío Posadas, will be the birthplace of the best Andalusian triathletes hunting for a new medal.

Afterwards, the 9h will begin the Sprint race, under a distance of 750m of swimming, 20km of cycling and culminating with 5km of running race. It will be the fourth round of the Andalusian triathlon circuit, and this will be more than a good reason to meet the best Andalusian and national triathletes to look for in Posadas, as it usually has, great quality and rivalry among athletes.

All this in the wonderful environment of the Breña de La Breña, being its cycling on the roads of Palma del Río, Hornachuelos and Posadas.

Two tests that will unite to give the best of themselves to this great locality. A town with a living history of triathlon, with 26 editions behind them and endless applause in each of their houses. That town where triathlon is a party over the year and where, as well as triathletes, the water runs through its streets, as it is the custom of its neighbors to take water hoses and carafes to offer their participants. Without a doubt, living soul of the triathlon.
