ICAN57 Gijón canceled for the next July 6

After several meetings and conversations between the parties involved, the heads of ICAN57 Gijón have decided to cancel the test scheduled for the next 6 in July, after the City decided to modify for the second time the circuit initially planned and agreed among all.

This change supposes, for those responsible for ICAN and of the Asturian test, a risk for the safety of the participants, a clear prejudice to the spectacle of the race and, in short, an important reduction in the quality criterion that has always been the flag of all the ICAN events.

ICAN deeply regrets the disruption that this cancellation may cause, for reasons beyond the control of the organizers, and offers two alternatives for the triathletes who are already registered.

Those who wish may receive the refund of the full amount of the inscription; but ICAN also offers the possibility of changing the Asturian test for another of those that are part of the ICAN calendar of 2014 or 2015. It offers the possibility of taking part in a test of identical distance (57 or 64) or in a medium distance (Half) without any increase in the amount to be paid. 

Recall that currently the ICAN testing calendar for 2014 will have stops in the German town of Nordhausen (Half & ICAN64, August 24), in Benicàssim (ICAN57, September 27), in Sevilla (Half, 5 of October) and in Gandia (Full, October 26). In addition, at this time the registrations for the Half ICAN & ICAN57 Málaga 2015 are also open.
