Great show of the Paralympians in Pontevedra

In the course of an intense day, the city of Lérez has welcomed the Spanish Championship of Paraduatlón, with a total of 30 athletes distributed in the respective seven categories, who faced 5 km initial race on foot through the streets of Pontevedra. Next, the second sector was made up of 4 cycling laps (20 km in total), to conclude with 2.5 km of running on foot along a single lap. The test granted places for the first three classified in each category in the face of the dispute of the next Duathlon World Championship that will take place at 2013 in Pontevedra.

 

 

The victory in TRI1 was for Rafael Botello (Club Atlético Melilla), followed by Francesc Sola (Independent) and Javier Reja (CDM Sevilla No & Do). For its part, the winner of the TRI2 category was Daniel Molina (Triathlon Store) and the silver went to Ricardo Marín of the Peña Ciclista Guerrita. While, Diego Velazquez  of the club Avant was won with the triumph in TRI3, with Miguel Coca (Plasencia Triathlon School), second and Raúl Zambrana (Triathlon College Añoreta-Novas), third. While in TRI4 the victory was for Antonio Salas (Navalmoral Triathlon School) and silver for Joaquín Carrasco (Club Triathlon Cáceres).

 

While in TRI5, Vicente Pascual (Avant) obtained the gold, while the duathletes of the Club Deportivo Gym Arena Francisco San Martin y Hector Gonzalez they took silver and bronze. In TRI6 Miguel Arroyo  (Club Triatlò L'Horta Picassent) the gold was hung and José Luis García (Ecosport Triathlon Alcobendas) silver. Likewise, César Morán he wore the gold medal, Jorge Otalecu silver and Iván Hompanera bronze in TRI7. In the female category TRI6, the Galician Susana Rodríguez (Wild Wolf Cidade de Lugo Fluvial), which featured the local duathlete Saleta Castro as a guide, she was proclaimed Champion of Spain of the modality. After her came Belinda López (CT Tomelloso) in second place.
