The Zújar Island hosts the Cros Triathlon Championship of the 2013 season
The region of La Serena will be the venue next Saturday, 4 of May, of the III edition of the Cros Triathlon Isla del Zújar, one of the most spectacular tests of the calendar and which takes place in a spectacular setting, which has led to this season being named 'Extremadura Championship'.
Specifically, the test will feature the participation of Extremadura triathletes of the stature of Eloy Valle, Javier Barragán, Raquel Mateos o Agueda Rodríguez, as well as athletes from other Spanish communities.
Registration will be open until next Tuesday 30 in April and may be made through the web portal of the Fextri where athletes will have the option to participate in the test Extremadura Championship or in the SuperSprint test with distances adapted for all those who want to start in this sport.
The distances to be covered in the Extremadura Championship will be 1000 meters in the area of Playa de la Isla del Zújar, 20 kilometers with bike around the Tourist Complex and 6 kilometers of running passing by all the hostels that the Complex offers. For the SuperSprint test the distances will be 300 meters swimming, 8 km cycling and 2 km running.
And, the test has been organized by the Federation of Triathlon Triathlon and the Commonwealth of Serena.
