In the first 24 hours Julián Sanz far exceeds his goals of traveling 600 daily kilometers

BIBE is already providing surprises. Julián Sanz, specialist in ultrafondo cycling, is giving a lot to talk about since Monday, being one of the focus of attention until November's 30 at the Bilbao Exhibition Center in Barakaldo. During those days he tries to beat the Guinness World Record of permanence in roll indoor, which is currently in six days without rest and 2.738 kilometers on Roller.

Julián Sanz pedal for the moment in a room of the BEC, until when the start of the new bicycle fair is moved next to the main stage of BIBE (Bilbao International Bike Exhibition). In his attempt to record, Julián Sanz is not alone, as with his technical team are passing people to chat with him.

In the first 24 hours Julián Sanz is fulfilling his objectives, such as traveling 600 kilometers per day. At 12 hours on Tuesday 25, Julian has already covered 729 kilometers.

This challenge is already surrounded by unknowns that are resolving: what average speed will reach (at the time of sending this note is 30,4 kilometers per hour), the calories you spend, how to feed during these six days based on liquids and purees of vegetables and fruits, what happens if you suffer from an injury, what mental work is being done to endure the monotony of pedaling for almost a week (watching movies, listening to music ...), how and when you go to the bathroom or how much time you have to sleep. And, finally, if he will manage to beat this record.
