The Local Police is looking for the man who was driving the bike through the pedestrian zone, which should be driven at a maximum of 10 kilometers per hour - The minor was bleeding from the mouth

According to the Diario de Vigo, a cyclist ran over a child on Tuesday afternoon in the heart of the Galician town of Vilagarcía de Aurosa. Although he stayed a few minutes at the accident site, the bicycle driver fled before the troops arrived, so the Local Police is looking for him.

The child fell to the ground due to the impact of the bicycle and bleeding from the mouth. Very frightened, he was reassured by his relatives, waiting for the 061 ambulance to arrive and transfer him to a health center. Local police agents and members of Civil Protection also moved to the site to clean the public road.

Apparently, the boy was going to buy trinkets when he was surprised by the cyclist. Some people at the scene pointed to excessive speed on the part of the cyclist. According to the Municipal Circulation Ordinance, cyclists must adapt the speed to the pace of a person, and in no case exceed the 10 kilometers per hour.

From Triathlon News we work to try to raise awareness among cyclists and drivers trying to inform about good behavior and the regulations to avoid these tragic news.

Then we leave a series of links where various scenarios are shown and how to act before them
