Two fatal accidents have occurred this weekend, in Seville on Friday and in Menorca today

Today the victim was a middle-aged foreign man, who was run over on the road from Sant Lluís to Alcaufar, according to the Diario de Menorca on his website.

A middle-aged foreign cyclist passed away this morning hit by a car on the road from Sant Lluís to Alcaufar, in Menorca. Two 061 ambulances came urgently to the scene, but they could not do anything for their lives. The Traffic Civil Guard makes arrangements to try to identify the victim, who did not carry documentation.

The accident, as confirmed by sources from 061 and the Civil Traffic Guard, occurred around eleven this morning, at kilometer 8 of the road that connects Sant Lluís and Alcaufar, in Menorca. The victim, an apparently foreign man in his 40s, was riding a bicycle alone when he was hit by a passenger.

As a result of the collision the man suffered serious injuries and died right there. The endowments of the two 061 ambulances that came to the place could only certify the death.

The Civil Guard initiated efforts to determine the circumstances of the incident and to identify the victim, who was undocumented. According to the first steps, the man was a foreigner resident in Menorca.

Deadly accident in Seville

EFE agency reported the death of A cyclist this Friday at noon in an accident occurred in the N-630 as it passes through the Sevillian town of Guillena (Seville), as reported by the emergency service 112, in a circumstance that investigates the Civil Guard and that could confirm that it is an outrage.

The event was recorded shortly before two o'clock in the afternoon, when a private person called the 112 to report that a cyclist had been run over, about three kilometers from the urban center of Las Pajanosas, in the municipality of Guillena.

From the 112 room, the Civil Guard of Traffic and the Public Company of Sanitary Emergencies have been activated immediately. The health services displaced to the scene have confirmed to the coordinating center that the cyclist has died.
