Suspended by doping two Master cyclists

The Galician champions of Master 40 and 60 have tested positive in a control

According to the newspaper atlántico.net two of the four champions of Galicia of the Master categories of this season they are suspended by dopaje. Valeriano Carrera, 60 Master, and Francisco Javier Iglesias, Master 40, they have not been licensed since last 18 in September after testing positive and being opened by the Spanish Agency for the Protection of Health in Sport (AEPSAD). 

Both athletes achieved victory this season in their respective categories in the Galicia Road Championship, held in the town of Tui last May.

Amateur masters categories, and throughout the year, they barely pass anti-doping controls. The only ones that occur are in specific tests. In both cases, the cyclists lost their token last September and, so far, it is a "precautionary measure for the suspension of the federal license." According to the newspaper.

Usually, these are the measures that are taken in the cases of a positive until the sanctioning process is completed through sport. At the time of a final sanction, the period of final sanction to the broker is detailed and made public. So far, the Carrera y Iglesias file is in process.
