Near 1.000 enrolled in the Challenge Salou

The test will have a large lineup of professionals in this edition. 

 

Challenge Salou the next 28 of May will be celebrated and they already have a great line up of professionals who will fight for the victory. The test has participants from 27 countries with the presence of more than 100 women in the test

Less than 2 months before the event, we already have the list of professionals who will fight for victory in the event, in the men's category the presence of  Iñaqui Bladellou winner of last year,  Miquel Blanchart who starts his season, Jan Raphael 2 winner of the Challenge Regensburg in 2016, Pablo Dapena, Trevor Wurtele, recent winner of the Ironman 70.3 Campeche in Mexico and bronze in the Ironman 70.3 European Championship in 2016,  Emilio Aguayo Spanish Md Triathlon Champion in 2015, Iván Álvarez winner of the Marina d'OR Pure Triathlon 226 and the Triathlon of Vitoria in 201 and, also top 20 of its category in Kona o Dani Múgica.

In the women Maria Pujol, Champion of Spain MD in 2016, DolÇa Ollé , Champion of Spain LD in 2016, Simona Krivankova, Catherine jameson top 10 in the LD Triathlon World Championship in 2016 or  Annah Watkinson third in the Ironman Barcelona 2016 are among the professionals who will fight for the title

Challenge Salou It will be the last qualifying race in Europe for The Championship 2017 and at the same time the first race for The Championship 2018.

The route of the test is 100% recommended for the triathlete where the swimming sector will be held in the spectacular Salou Beach, with shallow waters and with views that reach the Ebro delta and the Sierra de la Mussara.

The cycling sector runs along a highway that allows you to reach vertigo speeds, so it will be a decisive stage, while in the 21 km of running on foot you will discover the charm of the Costa Daurada and the warmth of the public throughout the entire route.

Salou is the capital of the Costa Daurada, a coastal area of ​​great beauty located in the southernmost part of Catalonia, in the province of Tarragona. A region that, thanks to its privileged location, goes from the mountains to the coast, bathed by the waters of the Mediterranean Sea.
