1.000 triathletes in the Spanish Triathlon Championship by Clubs

This weekend Águilas becomes the seat of the Spanish Triathlon Championship by Clubs, Conquering near 1000 triathletes that will seek to take over the national scepter of an exciting competition that will be held in sprint distance.

The beach of Las Delicias will be responsible for giving the exits, with participants entering Costa Calida to perform 750 m swimming. After passing through the transition, 21 km along seven laps crossing the periphery of the town. Finally, two laps of running on foot (5 km) for a circuit that will travel the aquiline promenade to reach the goal located on the esplanade of the Auditorium and Congress Center "Infanta Doña Elena".

To begin, throughout the afternoon of Saturday will be held the tests in promotion in female and male category. While from early on Sunday will begin the dispute of the Second Division men and women, giving way to mid-morning to the First Division.

In the course of these two intense days, each club will be able to put in action a maximum of ten triathletes and in the case of the teams participating in 1ª Division, they must necessarily have at the starting line with a minimum of eight triathletes. While in 2ª Division and in the Promotion category a minimum of six triathletes is established.

The classification will be obtained by adding up the points of the triathletes of each club who manage to qualify as long as their time does not exceed 20% more than the winner of their division in 1ª division (male) and 25% in 1ª Women, 2ª masculine and feminine and in Promotion.

A weekend full of action and in which the title of the League of Clubs is also at stake. All this in one of the most emblematic venues of the national triathlon that has a long tradition in the optimal organization of competitions.
