More than 100 teams will participate in the Spanish Triathlon Championship by Clubs

This weekend (24 and 25 of September) will be held in Gijón (Asturias) the Spanish Triathlon Championship in First Division clubs, Second Division and Promotion with the participation of more than one hundred teams and around a thousand athletes.

The first division competition, which will take place on Sunday 25, will begin with the women's event at 12 noon, while the men's event will begin at 00:13 p.m.

In 2015, Rivas's devils took the title in both categories.

Each club must present a team of at least 8 athletes and a maximum of 10. The race will be held over the sprint distance (750m of swimming in La playa de Poniente, 20 km of cycling and 5km of running race).

Second Division and Promotion.

On Saturday 24 will take place the promotion tests. In the category Men (19: 00) with a total of 28 teams, while in the female event (15: 00 hours) there is a total of 19 teams.

Also on Saturday will also take place the triathlon and Popular de Gijón, Women's Triathlon, with a total of 300 participants.
