An 3 of Julio of 1999 Iván Raña got his first Junior European Championship in Portugal
As time goes by, now we see Ivan Raña winning Ironman, lowering the times of 8 hours and even continues competing in barefoot ITU tests, but does in 1999 already pointed ways and got the European Championship in Funchal (Portugal). In that same competition the Austrian Nicola Spirig she also won the women's junior race which ended up being Olympic gold in London.
A year later at the Sydney Olympics 2000 achieved a magnificent fifth position and 2002 won its first world title.
We are sure that we have Iván Raña for a long time.
