3 Silver medals the Spanish paratriathlon in the ITU Paratriathlon Event of Iseo-Franciacorta

It was the first competition that awarded points for the classification of the next Rio 2016 Paralympic Games.

Once again, the Spanish paratriathletes have obtained remarkable results at international level, with three of our participants in the ITU Paratriathlon Event of Iseo-Franciacorta Obtaining silver medals.

A competition that gained notorious importance, becoming the first competition that awarded points for the classification of the next Rio 2016 Paralympic Games.

In PT3 Kini Carrasco He won the silver medal in a category in which the Austrian Oliver Dreier won the gold medal.

On the other hand, in an outstanding staging the Almeria Jairo Ruiz reached the silver medal in PT4, with a battler Rafa Solis completing his performance in 11º position. The German Martin Schulz has won a test in which the Russian Alexander Yalchik closed the podium in third place.

While in female PT5 Susana Rodríguez, under the guidance of his guide Mayalen Noriega, he completed a splendid competition by hanging himself with the silver medal. The first place went to the Australian Katie Kelly, and the Hungarian Zsófia Lengyel took the bronze.

Remarkable role of our athletes in Italy, completing a first 750-meter swim segment, in the iconic Lake Iseo. Subsequently, they have traveled the surroundings of the town of the province of Brescia on a 6,5 km cycling circuit. Finally, the final 5 km of the running race over three laps, crossing the center of the municipality, with the finish line in the main square of the town of Iseo.
