3.350 triathletes will participate this weekend at the Valencia Triathlon

Yesterday, 7, September, the Valencia Triathlon 2016 was presented.

With the assistance of the Councilor of Sports Maite Girau, the President of the FTCV Valeriano Moreno, the Managing Director of the FDM Jose Vicente Berlanga, the Director of Competitions of the FTCV Jose Luis Juan, the Head of Communication of the FTCV Sara Herrero, Sergio Bermejo of the Tetraesport Association and elite triathletes Ramón Ejeda, Roberto Sánchez and Miriam Muñoz.

El Valencia Triathlon meets next Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 September 3351 triathletes in a meeting that has become a benchmark of "Triathlon for All", with more popular distances such as Women's Triathlon, Supersprint Male and Sprint or with a School Aquathlon with the participation of the smallest in the day of Saturday and the test queen of Olympic triathlon who will distribute 12.000 € in prizes on Sunday. For the charitable cause of this edition, the participants have donated a total of 1100 € to the Tetraesport Association, for their new training center in Valencia and activities aimed at adapting physical exercise to the needs of each person, with special emphasis in people with disabilities or injuries and chronic problems.

The Aquatlón Escolar increases the capacity of the test in 500 places, and its closing of registrations will be tonight at 23: 59 hours.

Finally, both Valencia City Council, the Municipal Sports Foundation and the Valencian Triathlon Federation have highlighted the election of Valencia Triathlon as Championship of Spain in 2017 and the work that these institutions and the Federation are carrying out together to attract an international test in 2018.
