The European Cros Duathlon Championships and the Spanish Cros Duathlon, Cros Triathlon and Quadriathlon Championships will be held from today in the Cantabrian town

From today Castro Urdiales will open its doors to receive more than 800 athletes in what promises to be the great multisport party, with the dispute of the titles of the European Championship Duathlon Cros and Spanish Duathlon Cros Championships, Cros Triathlon y Quadriathlon in Game.

Three days that will bring together 860 athletes from different countries, such as Croatia, Great Britain, Germany, Portugal, Belgium, Holland, Venezuela, Austria and Norway. At the same time, it also highlights the strong participation of Spanish athletes who will fill the streets of Castro Urdiales in the course of three impressive days.

El European Championships and Spain Duathlon Cros will take place throughout Saturday, for a first segment of 6 km of running, continuing with 22,5 kilometers of BTT for a challenging circuit and concluding with other 3 km of running. While on Sunday the Spanish Quadriathlon Championship consisting of 1 km of swimming, 5,2 km of canoeing, 15 km of cycling and 6 km of running.

On Monday, the Spanish Championship of Triathlon Cros. Formed by an initial segment of 1 km, after passing through the transition zone triathletes will make 22,5 km on BTT for an arduous and technical route to finish with and 6 km of running on foot in the surrounding areas of the Cantabrian municipality.
