700 triathletes will meet at the premiere of Gijón as the headquarters of the ŠKODA Triathlon Series

Everything is ready in Asturias for the arrival of the ŠKODA Triathlon Series circuit. It will be this Sunday, October 11, date on which Gijón will host the penultimate appointment of the season.

El Triathlon of Gijón It will bring together about 700 athletes who will enjoy a program with four competitions. With the Poniente Beach as a reference, the triathlon opens to beginners with the Supersprint distance (350 m of swimming / 7 km of cycling / 2,5 km of running on foot) which, to make it if it is more accessible, can be completed individually, in pairs or by relays. Alongside this distance, the Sprint (750 m / 21 km / 5 km) and Olympic (1.500 m / 35 km / 10 km), available in two modes: individual or relay. In addition, a running race of 5 kilometers will also be played.
