Ana Casares announces its withdrawal from the high level competition

On Saturday 3 of September Ana will participate in her last triathlon, before announcing her retirement from the high level competition.

Ana Casares is a leader in Spanish triathlon, as a triathlete and as a coach, being one of the best specialists in women's specific training.

In all these years as an elite athlete (2000-2016) Ana has been the mother of three children, who have given her a huge inner strength to make the most of her sporting performance.

In his sporting record, his three victories stand out Spanish Winter Triathlon Championship, besides the bronze medal of the European of 2015 and the 6º position of the world-wide one of 2000. In duathlon it has been 2 times champion of Spain and 7ª in the 2001 World Championship.

As a triathlete, his victories stand out Challenge of Vitoria 2013 y Zarautz 2007, is also one of the few Spanish that managed to get down from 10h in Ironman, being its best record 9h41m that earned it to be top10 in Roth 2010.

In 2010 it was Champion of Spain of marathon, and three years before, in 2007, he made his best mark in the Berlin marathon of 3h36'55”, which was the IAAF minimum for the Olympic Games in Beijing.

On Saturday 3 of September Ana will participate in her last triathlon, before announcing her retirement from the high level competition. It will be in the triathlon of the Sports Group San Juan de Pamplona, ​​the same triathlon where he debuted 21 years ago in 1995.

Later, on Monday 5 at the 19: 30 at the AC Ciudad de Pamplona Hotel will be the event where Ana will end her career as an elite triathlete. Although it will remain linked to the world of sport as a coach and also starts a new path as a personal and executive coach.
