With a spectacular race segment on foot the Australian has achieved her first victory in a WTS.

Today was the seventh stage of the world circuit, where the Australian Ashleigh Gentle has given the surprise imposing to Flora Duffy, who paid the lost time in a bad T2, getting his first victory in a World Series after having been second in Gold Coast and Hamburg.

The test that began at the 19: 30 Spanish time, has been disputed on Olympic distance- The first to complete the 1,5 km of swimming was the American Katie Zaferes, followed closely by Yuko Takahashi, Emma Jefcoat and the Spanish Carolina Routier 2 seconds.

Already on the bike a group was formed in the passage through the first round of 18 units with Flora Duffy, Katie Zaferes, Ashleigh Gentle, Andrea Hewitt, Rachel Klamer and Carolina Routier among others. In this group there were 9 triathletes who had made the podium this season in a WTS.

The 9-lap bike course, which passed through historic Montreal, featured several steep slopes and several highly technical turns.
