The Bilbao Triathlon is suspended

The fundamental reasons have been the difficulties suffered by the uncertainties endured in this 2018 to face with guarantees and sufficient quality the test this year.

The organization has sent a statement, explaining the reasons for the suspension

In the absence of just under two months of the celebration of the test, we have to take the painful decision of the SUSPENSION OF THE EIGHTH EDITION OF THE BILBAO TRIATLON.

The fundamental reasons that have led us to make this decision have been the difficulties suffered by the uncertainties endured in this 2018 to face with guarantees and sufficient quality the test this year.

From Innevento Sports we believe that we have made a great effort to make it viable but it has not been possible.

We deeply feel the damage generated especially to the triathlete family that had trusted us this year -with whom we have contacted to proceed with the return of the inscriptions- and the disappointment that we have been able to generate in our environment, but to continue forward supposed no be up to the Bilbao Triathlon brand.

In the same way, we want to thank all the people, sponsors and Institutions that have trusted us, that have given us their support and, hopefully, now and in the future with their understanding.

For us it is not a suspension, it is a postponement, we focus our efforts in carrying out a rethinking, a redimensioning that makes it possible. We make a break

to reflect and be able to return to the "burden" with new plans and with the confidence of being able to make our dream possible again in 2019.
