Spanish Cup Calendar of Medium and Long Distance Triathlon 2017

The Triathlon of Orihuela Miguel Hernández will replace that of Elche

One of the great attractions of the next season will be the Spanish Cup of Medium and Long Distance Triathlon. Six of the most representative venues of these modalities come together to form a high-flying circuit in 2017.

The XIII TOrihuela riathlon Miguel Hernández will inaugurate the circuit on April 22 and 23, 2017. The participants will start at the Cabo Roig beach in Oriola, arriving at the neighboring Playa de la Glea, which predicts a fast segment due to the favorable wind. Cycling will go through the Vega Baja, with the port of Rebate and the surroundings of La Pedrera as main courses, and a spectacular and very fast segment on foot through the Palm Grove and the historic center, with the finish line located in the heart of the city, the Gabriel Miró roundabout. The second stop will take place on May 13 in PamplonaOn the occasion of Spain Middle Distance Triathlon Championship, framed in the third Half Triathlon Pamplona - Iruña edition. The capital of Navarra will offer spectacular scenarios, combining some demanding segments with impressive landscapes that will delight triathletes and spectators. Next, we will enjoy the seventh edition of the Ecotrimad. One of the references of the medium distance, the competition was already the Spanish Championship of the modality in 2014 and is the first medium distance triathlon of the Community of Madrid. In 2017, one of the most emblematic middle distance races joins, with the inclusion of the XXXII edition of the Triathlon of Guadalajaraa the Spanish Cup.
