Javier Gómez Noya unveils his calendar for 2016

The main objective of the Noya is to get Gold at the Rio Olympic Games

In an interview with La Voz de Galicia, the five-time Triathlon world champion, Javier Gómez Noya reveals part of its calendar for the 2016.

Javi will start the calendar with World Series events Abu Dhabi (4-5 March), Gold Coast (9-10 April) and Cape (23-24 April), not participating if possible in Yokohama (14-15 Mayo).

After this he would participate in the European Championship in Lisbon (26-29 May) and then on Pontevedra y Lugo during the month of May. From there already focused 100% in Rio will participate in WTS tests as Hamburg (16-17 July) and Stockholm (2-3 Julio).

Noya says that he will not be able to participate in the Ironman World Championship held in Australia (Mooloodaba) 10 days after the Olympics, but if you intend to participate in any 70.3 test to qualify for 2017.

Triathlon events at the Olympic Games will be held on 18 and 20 days in August.
