Camila Alonso second and Carolina Routier fifth in the American Cup Premium of Santo Domingo

Camila Alonso closes 2017 just as she started with a podium in Latin America while Carol Routier ends her season with a meritorious 5 position.

Today was celebrated in Santo Domingo, the CAMTRI Premium Cup, a competition in which they have achieved the victory Fernando Alarza (2015.2016) and Camila Alonso (2016)

The test has been decided on the foot race, after a grouping of 14 triathletes in the cycling sector. The leading group reached T2 where Camila Alonso was the fastest and took the lead in the first meters of the running race. Later it was advanced by the Brazilian Beatriz Neres who took the victory. Second in goal was Camila Alonso while Carolina Routier she came to about 30” behind the Galician in fifth position.
