Hamburg hosts the Mixed Relay World Championship

It will be held after male and female elite tests

For the third time the city of Hamburg will host the Mixed Relay World Championship ITU where we can see a fast and exciting competition.

The mixed teams will be formed by 2 boys and 2 girls where each member of the team will complete a "mini" triathlon before giving the relief to their partner. The triathletes will face 300 meters of swimming, 6.6 km of cycling and 1.6 km of running.

The Spanish team will fight to be in the highest positions of the classification

The current World Relay Champion is Britain, that this year will not benefit from the power of Jonathan Brownlee y Alistair Brownlee that will not compete in Hamburg. This means that the French they will be the rival to watch in the test.

In the female category, the clear favorite is  U.S. although  Australia, Germany, South Africa o New Zealand will fight for podium positions.

The athletes that make up each team are confirmed on the same day of the Mixed Relay World Championship.
