Canada will host the 2017 Multi-sport World Championship

The ITU has confirmed that the city of Penticton will host the championship

5.000 athletes will concentrate during 10 days in the Multisport World Championship to be held from the 19 to the 27 of August of 2017 in Penticton (Canada)

For the first time, athletes will be able to compete in more than one championship, Marisol Casado comments in a statement from the ITU. Penticton has hosted triathlon events for more than 30 years so it has a lot of experience for the event.

In addition to the championships of Aquathlon, duathlon, triathlon cros and long distance testa, the participants will be able to enjoy concerts, a village of athletes, street dance, the expo zone, the parade of nations, children's races and the awards ceremony;
