Luxury poster in the Ironman 70.3 of Mallorca, more than 2.000 triathletes will participate in the event
World Champions of different disciplines, several top10 in Kona and an Olympic champion make the Ironman 70.3 of Mallorca a test of enormous level.
This Saturday a new edition of the Thomas Cook Ironman 70.3 from Mallorca, swimming will take place in the Bay of Alcudia, next to the port. Later the triathletes will face the 90km in a single round where the Coll de Femenia stands out with 8km at 6%. Finally the 21km of foot race run through the city and the port of Alcuida.
The main favorites to win are the Germans Andreas Dreitz y Timo Bracht, besides the British Tim Don, the Italian Alexander Degasperi and the Belgian Bart Aernouts. In the pro male list there are 8 Spanish, the main advantages are Víctor del Corral y Miguel Ángel Fidalgo, who can opt for the most. Also highlight Joan Nadal, Xavier Torrades, Carlos López y Josep Torres that can fight the Top10 and close the national representation Santiago Abad e Ignacio Rubio.
In female category luxury departure list, with Nicola Spirig, Natascha Schitt, Emma Pooley, Camila Pedersen y Leandra Cave. The men's competition will start at 7: 55 and the women at 8: 00. After the PROS over 2000 triathletes will face the test.
