Tim O'Donnell and Rachel Joyce, PTO Co-Chairs, commented, “We couldn't be more excited that the first Collins Cup is being held in Roth. The primary mission of the PTO is to celebrate the sport of triathlon. The Collins Cup will bring together the legends in the sport to take the best triathletes in a battle to see which region dominates triathlon. This will not only create a fascinating competition, but will also serve as a platform for professionals and amateurs to enjoy triathlon. We can't think of a better place to start that celebration than in Roth, where the fan support is truly incredible."

DATEV CHALLENGE ROTH CEO Felix Walchshoefer stated: “Europeans love triathlon and especially the 260.000 dedicated German fans in Roth. As Germany has failed to host the Ryder Cup on the last two occasions, we were not going to miss the opportunity to bring the Collins Cup to Germany.

The Collins Cup 2018 will be the highlight of the weekend celebrations at Roth. In order to give maximum diffusion worldwide, the first test of the Collins Cups will begin at noon.
