3 Spanish in the Top 10 in the French Cup of Triathlon
Nan Oliveras third, Uxio Abuin sixth and Antonio Benito ninth
This morning the French Cup of Triathlon was held in the French town of Châteauroux, where the Spaniards had a large representation.
Nan Oliveras has achieved the third final place, presenting his credentials for the next European Championship of Triathlon Sub 23.
The test that was played on distance sprint, was very fast leaving the first of the French water Raoul Shaw with more than 20 seconds ahead of the rest of favorite trials. On the bike that was very fast Nan Oliveras arrived second on the bike.
In the foot race the French Aurélien Lebrun got the best time what served him to reach the finish line with a final time of 55: 19 followed by Danish Anders Lund (55: 25) and Spanish Nan Oliveras (55: 27) who played second place in a tight sprint. Uxio Abuin has finished in sixth position and Antonio Benito ninth.
The rest of Spaniards were: Víctor Benages the 35º, Guillermo Chucillo the 48º and Jools Bardon in the square nº 51
