Cristóbal García and María Pujol winners of Duathlon of Seville

More than 600 triathletes and a multitude of fans enjoy a spring afternoon in the Parque del Alamillo

A wonderful morning is what has been lived in the vicinity of the Isla de la Cartuja and Parque del Alamillo, in what since yesterday, besides being considered the most popular duathlon in Spain, is also the fastest, according to the organization

The winner of the test in male category was for the Cordovan of Montilla-CórdobaTriatlón, Cristobal García Guillén, where from the first hour he took the reins of the test, forming a very compact head group with Isbilya Sloopy Joe's Samer Ali-Saad and the Huelva Adrián Andivia, where a mistake in the second transition of the latter made him lose the third place, finally forming the podium in second position Samer Ali-Saad and the Sevillian of ADSevilla Clínica Dr. Cariñanos Sergio Lorenzo third.

In the female category the race would be different to the male, forming from the first tones of the exit the absolute winning podium, marking a clear head group both in race on foot and in cycling being the last race on foot which decided the final positions. The Seville Maria Pujol, Club Simón Verde- Doc 2001 raised the winner's ribbon, followed by his club mate the Huelva Rocío Espada Vázquez and forming the third position the Galician María Rico del Fluvial de Lugo.

 Apart from the professionals, many runners have been able to enjoy a magnificent afternoon of sports in the Parque del Alamillo, the final party also comprising the categories of relays and equality.

More than 600 registered duathletes, in addition to their families and numerous spectators, have populated the Island of the Cartuja to enjoy this event, the first of the Europa FM Circuit and which serves as an advance for the Seville Triathlon, which will be held on May 28 .
