Pablo Dapena with a spectacular race segment on foot has achieved victory and the title of Champion of Spain

Today, the last Fetri Championship of the season has been played in Ibiza, Spanish Long Distance Triathlon Championship where the champions of the last edition, Gustavo Rodriguez and Dolça Ollé started as favorites for the victory, although Emilio Aguayo, Pablo Dapena , Maria Pujol or Anna Noguera they also started with options for victory.

The test that had a distance of 4 kilometers of swimming, 120 of cycling and 30 of race started at the 8 in the morning the fastest to leave the water were Emilio Aguayo with Angel Salamanca and Pablo Dapena who came out with an advantage near 2: 30 on a grupero formed by Victor Manuel Gónzalez and Miguel Ángel Fidalgo and Javier Cardona.

In the 120 km of cycling, Emilio Aguayo left alone to reach T2 with a 5:30 lead over Pablo Dapena and more than 7 minutes over Gustavo Rodríguez, who was climbing positions during the segment. In the running segment, a spectacular Pablo Dapena was climbing positions to catch up with Emilio on the 10 km of the race, Gustavo who was lagging behind several triathletes were approaching in the fight for third place.

Finally Pablo Dapena he went solo to get the victory in a time of 05: 59: 31 followed by Emilio Aguayo (06:05:25) and by Gustavo Rodríguez (06: 06: 43) in third position

As for the women's event, the event began a few minutes later than the men's event and the fastest to complete the 4 km of swimming was Helene Alberdi, beating María Pujol by 12 seconds and Dolça Ollé by 2:20. Anna Noguera was fourth at 4 minutes.

In the cycling segment, Anna Noguera was climbing positions to be in first position and finish the 120 km in the lead, reaching T2 with almost 5 minutes of advantage over Maria Pujol. Dolça Ollé entered third after more than 6 minutes.

 Finally Anna Noguera it was increasing its advantage to obtain the victory and the title of Champion of Spain LD in a final time of 06: 52: 23, followed by María Pujol (07: 04: 56) and Helene Alberdi (07: 08: 24) occupying the third final position.
