The duatlón LD of Culla closes the season FETRI 2016

Tomorrow, Saturday, the last test of the FETRI 2016 calendar will be held, the Culla Long Distance Duathlon, a race belonging to the Duathlon LD Cup and also the No Drafting Series circuit.

Culla is a small town located in the interior of the province of Castellón, in the Alto Maestrazgo region. The test consists of 13,1 km of foot race in its first sector where the duatletas will give 2 laps of 6,4 km (plus link 300m) for dirt roads, concrete tracks and a stretch through the streets of the town. After leaving the T1 will face a very hard cycling sector, 61km with more than 1500m of vertical drop, with two ascents to the port of Culla and the ascent to the Mining Park of Alto Maestrazgo with ramps that will exceed in some sections the 20%. To finish once the bike is over, the duathletes will return to the race track on foot to complete the 6,4km.

In the female category, the main favorites are Miriam Muñoz, Leonor Font, Alba Reguillo, Pilar Rus y Leticia Gil.

While in the masculine category, Rubén Peñuela, Ibai Alba, Pablo Martín, Rubén Rodríguez y Fernando Santander.

Duathletes registered male and female category

The women's event will be the first to be contested, taking the exit to the 11: 00, while the men's test will start the 11: 20. According to the State Meteorological Agency are expected rain tomorrow and a temperature between 5 and 8 ºC, so everything suggests that it will be an epic race given the combination of the expected time and the hardness of the circuits.
