Ecotrimad, will have two Olympic distance tests

This year highlights a new Olympic distance test with and without drafting

The third edition of 6 Ecotrimad, one of the benchmark events in the Madrid Triathlon and in the national calendar, introduces new features this year to attract athletes to the unique places of the Sierra Norte de Madrid and the medieval town of Buitrago de Lozoya.

The tests will be held between the 14 and 15 of May of 2016

The organization introduces Saturday 14 de Mayo, together with the medium distance test, un Olympic triathlon without drafting with 1.900 of swimming, a return to the spectacular bicycle circuit and another return to the race circuit for the Riosequillo dam. This modality will provide the triathletes with a perfect preparation test for the medium and long distance triathlons that are being prepared.

On Sunday 15 de Mayo, Ecotrimad will include two distances. The traditional Ecotrimad Sprint that celebrates its 4 edition and a new olympic triathlon with drafting (1,5 / 40 / 10) that will be developed in the same circuit of the Sprint test. The Sunday session, if circumstances permit, will also house the 4ª edition of "Ecotrikids" a competition for minors that is already a reference in the Madrid promotion triathlon
