The night moves to the rhythm of running in the EDP BILBAO NIGHT MARATHON

Two referents of international athletics, Martín Fiz and Chema Martínez, bet on EDP Bilbao Night Marathon and share the running party with 13.000 runners

 

 

 

A true festival of light and color have covered today the streets of Bilbao in a test that has had almost 13.000 passionate about running that have taken the exit of EDP BILBAO NIGHT MARATHON.

A unique race, different and full of spectacle that has consolidated this 2015 in its seventh edition, which also has international athletes such as Martin Fiz and Chema Martinez who took the start in the 10 km and 21 km respectively.

In the 10k, the pirate test, the young Alejandro Codesal took the podium with a total time of 00: 32: 19 where he was accompanied by Cristina García who finished in 00: 37: 33. "It has been a pleasure to be able to compete with an athlete of the stature of Martín Fiz and in a city like Bilbao. The spectacular circuit and with a great atmosphere for all its streets "declared Alejando on arrival at the finish line.

In the 21k, the view was set on the international athlete Chema Martínez who suffered an injury in the 15 km away from being able to achieve victory but not to fight for a podium position where he achieved the third position, being the winners of the Camilo test Santiago and Iratxe Muñoz with a time of 1: 08: 17 and 01: 26: 17 respectively.

5 Kenyan, 4 in male and one in female, were presented as the favorites to take the victory where finally Moses Gaikarira with a time of 02: 14: 58 and Beatrice Jepchumba with a time of 02: 52: 09 were made with the first podium drawer.
