4 medals for Spain in the European paratriathlon

A total of 10 paratriathletes met yesterday in Geneva to take part in the European Paratriathlon Championship.

In an unbeatable environment, the part of the race on foot put the excitement to the circuit, where innumerable curves in the layout made this event "an adventure".

"The environment is spectacular, and I liked the way, although the part of the race on foot has been hard for the corners, where you had to keep braking to avoid leaving the track"He told us Eva María Moral upon arrival at the finish line in second position

"Every day there is more level, we have given everything in the test and achieved a good result, still not enough, every day there are more athletes who start competing in paratriathlon, and the truth that the Dutch team has been a big surprise for us"He told us Daniel Llambrich and your guide

For Dani Molina, who has countless international podiums, "The truth is that I am in shape and the result has been good, but it is difficult to get up to speed due to the change of the categories that have been this year where I compete with people who do have legs for cycling and the race to foot""In spite of everything my swimming is fast, I have gone ahead, and my cycling and running times have been the expected ones"

A total of 4 medals arrive in Spain from the paratriathlon team, achieving Alejandro Sánchez the first podium position in PT3 being accompanied by Dani Molina in third position. In PT1 Fem, the second place took it Eva María Moral and in PT 2 Fem, the third place for Rakel Mateo.

In the international event we could also count on part of the Staff of the Fetri accompanying the athletes, where we could see Jose Maria Hidalgo, President of the Spanish Triathlon Federation, accompanied by Iñaki Arenal, Technical Director, Jorge and Esther as Officers in the test, and Benito Gutierrez as coach.

Today, at the 12.00, the elite male event will take place, with the 15.30 being the elite women's event.
