The return of Miriam Roselló to triathlon after suffering a myocardial infarction

Almost a year ago the triathlete Miriam Roselló I suffered beginning myocardial infarction at the end of the Burriana Triathlon (Castellón). In the afternoon after eating he still had chest discomfort so he went to the emergency room where he had an electrocardiogram and was diagnosed with a myocardial infarction ... after which the ambulance took him to the Hospital de la Fe in Valencia where he stayed for several days admitted to the ICU.

The world of triathlon turned with her, receiving encouragement and showing her support to wish her a speedy recovery.

After many months, after a long recovery last Saturday in the town of Nules (Castellón) Miriam put back a dorsal to compete in a triathlon, his heart was completely healthy and had won the battle the heart attack he suffered almost a year ago , with the chance that the triathlon route of Nules was just 5 kilometers from Burriana's last year.

Yesterday we spoke with Miriam, triathlete from the VRP Electric - Mortes Bikes - Club Triatló Sueca club, who told us that it has been a long and hard year, but that he is very happy to have been able to compete again, that his return to competition would not have been possible without the encouragement and the help of his partner the triathlete Emilio Aguayo, her family, friends ... and also thanks to “her” PARATRIKIDS, the paratriathlete children from the Avant-Montcada school where Miriam is one of the trainers, who have a special strength that they have transmitted to Miriam during these months in order to recover.

PS: The result was the least, because the great victory was to see Miriam again running ... but as a curiosity quote that Miriam ended the triathlon of Nules in 2ª position, a few seconds from the first.
