The South African Richard Murray has achieved victory

After the great third place of Mavi García in the women's event, it was the turn of the men's competition, where Emilio Martín, twice Duathlon World Champion, defended the title won last year.

Already in the cycling sector of 40 km, the leading group could see a battle between its components where in the end they left alone Van Egdom, Richard Murray, Emilio Martin, Yohan Le Berre and Setnh Totten who arrived with about 1 minute of advantage over the rest of the group and near 3 on the platoon pursuer to the T2.

Finally in the race on foot, the South African Richard Murray showed his quality getting the victory with a time of 1: 42: 18 followed by Emilio Martín (1:42:35) in second position and for Jorik Van Egdom (1: 42: 41) occupying the third final place.
