Emilio Martín fourth and Paula García fifth in the Duathlon European Championship
The Spaniards have made a great career in elite category
Today it was held in Kalkar (Germany), the Duathlon European Championship where we had the presence of Emilio Martín, current World Champion, and Paula Garcia Godino, Champion of Spain of the modality.
In the men's category, the victory was for Jorik Van Egdom with the Frenchman with a final time of 1:47:04, followed by his compatriot Benoit Nicolas (01: 47: 37) and of Yohan Le Berre (1: 47: 46) occupying the third position.
The Spanish Emilio Martín (1: 48: 01) although it has finished in third place in the elite event and since there is no distinction between the elite and sub23 categories, it has finally finished in fourth position. The first place was for the Dutch Jorik van Egdom
In the female category, the winner was the Italian Giorgia Priarone. Our representative Paula García has finished in fifth position.
