Enhamed, the first blind man to finish an Ironman.

The new book is published on the market where a story of overcoming the best Paralympic swimmer of all time is narrated

 

Enhamed has been the first blind man to finish an Ironman, he has climbed Kilimanjaro, Besides having 9 Olympic medals (4 gold). He has run the New York Marathon and prepares new sporting challenges. His next challenges are to participate in the Spartan Race of Madrid and in the Ironman by Roth (Germany).

The book draws a lot of experiences, reflections, advice and experiences that give the keys to get ahead in life and overcome any obstacle however high Ironmind is, besides being the title of the new book that the publisher has just published Arcopress, is the best way to define his writer, Enhamed Enhamed, who was blinded at the age of eight years did not prevent him from being the best Paralympic swimmer in history, and the only blind runner who managed to overcome the triathlon test .

Although it is not a biography to use, the book tells a great story of overcoming, that of their own existence, from which a lot of experiences, reflections, advice and experiences that give the keys to get ahead in the life and overcome any obstacle no matter how high.

Enhamed's book, Iron Mind

Enhamed Enhamed was born in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria on the 11 of September of 1987. He went blind at the age of eight due to a retinal detachment. He learned to swim at age nine but it was not until he was thirteen years old when swimming became his true priority.

For more than a decade he was dedicated body and soul to high sports performance, representing Spain in three paralympics, five absolute world championships, one junior and one European; in addition to numerous competitions of another nature.

At the end of his second Paralympic Games in Beijing 2008, where he won four gold medals, he wanted to share all that sport had meant to him, as well as the keys that led him to achieve his goals. First as a speaker and then as a sports coach and executive. Currently, he continues to share his learning and experiences in seminars, conferences and trainings, without abandoning his passion for sports.

In 2014 has completed the Ironman of Lanzarote (becoming the first Spanish blind in history to achieve this) and, in the summer of the same year, the ascent to Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa, culminated successfully. He has currently made the leap to the US to continue growing personally and professionally, fixing his residence there
