Today we learn of a sad news, since the professional triathlete Alistair Eeckman of only 23 years of age has died when crashing against a bus, dying in the act, only one day after having participated in the Powerman Austria where I finish in sixth position according to the newspaper Heute.at

The Californian from 23 years was very loved and his untimely death has hit the world of Triathlon hard.

His father Frank Eeckman confirmed the tragic news and comments that he had planned to go to Switzerland to compete in Zofingen, the Duathlon World Championship that is going to play the 1 and 2 in September.
