Flora Duffy Triathlon World Champion

After the male test where Mario Mola He has won his second world title and Javier Gómez Noya the runner-up. It was the turn of the women's event where Flora Duffy was the top favorite for victory and for the world championship. In the test we had two Spanish representatives Carolina routier and Anna Godoy.

The test that has been contested on Olympic distance began with the swimming segment where the fastest has been the British Jessica Learmonth and Flora Duffy followed closely by Carolina Routier and Taylor Spivey.

Already in the 40 km of cycling, a group was formed in the lead with Duffy, Learmonth and Katie Zaferes followed by a group of 7 to 42 seconds with Kristen Krasper, Rachel Klamer or Jodie Stimpson. The lead group was increasing the advantage to arrive with 1:29 of advantage over the chasing group.
