Gold Coast host of the Grand Final of the World Series at 2018

It is expected that more than 5.000 triathletes from 46 countries participate in the competition

ITU has announced that Australia will host the Grand Triathlon Final ITU between the 12 and 16 of September of the 2018, where tests in format of paratriathlon, RESPONSIVEmixed eights, Olympic distance y sprint distance .

Marisol Casado, member of the IOC, commented "Gold Coast has hosted many tests on the ITU calendar for many years and we are very proud that Australia hosts the Grand Final next season. For this year 2017, the ITU Grand Triathlon World Final is held in the Dutch city of Rotterdam, where, will officially hand over the witness of the Grand Final to the City of Gold Coast at the conclusion of the test this next September 11.
