Great demand of inscriptions for the XXI Triathlon of Seville

3.200 people participated in the last edition of the competition, the registrations being sold out days before the scheduled date for the closing of places

The 28 Sunday in May will take place on XXI Triathlon of Seville, a great sport festival in Andalusia. Categories for all audiences

La Olympic distance it will be the most orthodox category of the competition, reserved only for federated athletes. It consists of a swimming circuit 1.500 m, 38 km of cycling and 9.55 km of running. The Sprint category, in which both federated and non-federated athletes can participate, is configured by a circuit of 750 m in the swimming stage, 20 km in the cycling and 4.95 km in the running race. Finally, the Super Sprint distance, also open for federated and non-federated, consists of 350 m of swimming distance, 11 km of cycling and 2.6 km of running. In addition, this edition also has the triathlon by relay and equality, which compete in the Super Sprint distance.

 La Relay category It is designed for teams of three participants who will compete individually in each of the sectors of the test: swimming, cycling or running. On the other hand, Equality category aims to directly promote the incorporation of women into sport. In this modality, the competition will be held in pairs of men and women, with the final classification based on the fact that both components remain together throughout the course and pass through the finish line at the same time.

 In addition, the XXI Triathlon of Seville is committed to the integration and participation of all people who want to enjoy the competition. The event is open to athletes with diversity in any of the modalities that are presented, where the regulation for athletes with diversity of the Spanish Triathlon Federation will be applied (PARATRIATLÓN).

Competitiveness, also in the price of inscriptions

Due to the high demand of this event, two different registration stages have been established. The first comprises from now until the 8 of May, with the 30 prices for euros for the Olympic category (where only federated athletes can participate), 26 euros for the Sprint category for federated and 33 euros for non-federated and, finally, 22 euros in the Super Sprint category for federated and 29 euros for non-federated. In addition to the other two modalities, relays and equality, which have a price of 58 and 44 euros respectively.

 The second stage of inscriptions covers the 8 to the 23 in May, with the prices of 36 euros for the Olympic category, 32 euros in the Sprint category for federated and 39 euros for non-federated; and 28 euros in the Super Sprint category for federated and 35 euros for non-federated. In addition to the other two modalities, relays and equality, which have a price of 68 and 54 euros respectively.
