Gustavo Rodríguez and Anna Noguera win the Orihuela Triathlon

An exciting duel in the foot race with Pablo Dapena, Gustavo has achieved victory in the race. Anna Noguera with a great career sector has achieved a comfortable victory

Today has been held in the town of Orihuela the fourth circuit test No Drafting Series el Triathlon by Orihuela Miguel Hernández where some of the best athletes in the specialty like Syvain Sudrie, Gustavo Rodriguez, Pablo Dapena, Saleta Castro, Dolça Ollé o Anna Noguera among others they have taken the exit.

The competition that was played in medium distance format (1,9-90-21) started at 8: 00 AM in the morning with the male output, while the female 5 made it minutes later.

Male competition

Pablo Dapena was the first boy to get out of the water followed at 1:31 by a group made up of Syvain Sudrie, Francisco Fernandez “Pakillo” and Emilio Aguayo hunting the first.

In the 90 km of cycling, with a broken circuit with 1.200 meters of positive slope, an impressive Gustavo Rodriguez was slowly climbing time to the leaders of the race, to reach the T2 alone with more than 1 minute of advantage over the French Syvain Sudrie and Pablo Dapena who came together to transition.

In the 21 km of the race on foot, through the historic center of the city, we could see a beautiful duel between the first three where Gustavo Rodriguez gave way little by little with respect to Pablo Dapena who went through the 12,5 race kilometer to just 6 seconds, in this same step Sudrie was third more than 2 minutes from the head of the race.

In the last exciting kilometers Gustavo Rodríguez he managed to maintain and finally increase his advantage, to reach the goal alone and get the final victory in a time of 4: 00: 09. Second in goal was Pablo Dapena (4: 01: 13) while Emilio Aguayo(4: 02: 24) got the third final position and the victory in the Autonomic Championship.

In the female category, Dolça Ollé was the first to emerge from the water, followed by Saleta Castro to 41 seconds. Anna Nogera and Mabel Gallardo came out behind more than 1: 30 from the head of the race.

In the bicycle sector Saleta Castro was climbing positions to reach the head of the race and forming a group along with Anna Noguera and Mabel Gallardo. These three triathletes went together to the T2 where Anna Nogera arrived first, followed by Saleta Castro to 4 seconds and Mabel Gallardo to 15.

In the 21 km of the walking race Anna Noguera athlete sponsored by Skechers has shown that he came in great form to the race and was increasing the advantage to reach the finish line with a time of 4: 43: 09. Saleta Castro(4: 45: 58) was the second classified followed byor Aintzane Argaiz (4: 52; 46) in third final position.
