Infinitri Half Triathlon presents 2 venues in 2017

At the headquarters of Peñíscola in April, Almassora-Castellón joins in June.

In his 5ª edition the Infinitri Half Triathlon Peñíscola It is located as a reference for the Spanish middle distance, having hosted more than 3.000 triathletes and being the venue of the Regional Autonomic Championship in 2016. This test supposed in 2013 to be the first Mid-distance triathlon of the province of Castellón and stands out for its unique locations turning it into a spectacular half-ironman test (1,9 km - 90 km - 21 km.) recognized for its exigence and beauty.

The event will take place in the town of Peñíscola the 2 of April of 2017, which integrates the most beautiful villages network in Spain, has been recently included within the most beautiful villages in the World and it is situated as one of the preferred tourist destinations.

As a novelty for the 2017, Infinitri Sports adds a new headquarters for the month of June in the town of Almassora, just minutes from Castellón de la Plana. This new headquarters will also have a new distance in addition to the half, Olympic Plus, also without drafting for those who want to start in the middle distance or do a quality training. This new venue will receive the triathletes next June 18 2017.

An incomparable setting to give your best.

The Infinitri Half Triathlon Peñíscola offers spectacular images that can not be found anywhere else, the special orography of the old town located in a tombolo at 64 meters above sea level, allows to make a swimming segment surrounding the Peñíscola Castle, emblematic place full of legends of templars and great battles, and more recently known as one of the stages of the well-known series Game of Thrones.

All participants highlight how amazing it is to swim a few meters from the imposing walls of the Castle. The cycling circuit goes into the interior of the region passing through the towns of Càlig, Sant Jordi Cervera del Maestre, with a profile with constant changes of level that without having large slopes end up accumulating continuous efforts. Another of the jewels of the race is its 21km walking race segment, starting from the north beach, on the way to the Serra D'Irta natural park where we will be accompanied by the exceptional views of its wild coves.

These two tests join the rest of the events of the Infinitri Sports circuit: the Infinitri Sprint Vila-real (30 of July of 2017), and the expected InfinitriMan, an Ultra-distance event scheduled for October of 2017 in the province of Castellón, traveling 515 or 258 kilometers according to the distance chosen, during 3 stages , and in individual mode, by teams or relays.
