Infinitri Sports will host two Autonomous Triathlon Championships

Peñíscola, in Mid Distance Triathlon, and Montanejos, in Triathlon Cross, are the venues designated by the Triathlon Federation of the Valencian Community.

Infinitri Sports, organizer of various sports events, will host two regional championships in 2016. The tests designated by the Triathlon Federation of the Valencian Community are the Triathlon MD Peñiscola, which will celebrate its fourth edition on April 24 and which already has more than 700 registered, and the Cross Triathlon of Montanejos, which will be the second edition of 1 in October after the good debut of the test in 2015. 

Both tests will determine the regional triathlon champion of each specialty: Medium Distance in Peñíscola (1900 meters of swimming, 90 kilometers of cycling and 21 kilometers of running) and Cross Triathlon in Montanejos (750 meters of swimming in the Arenoso reservoir, 18 kilometers of mountain biking and finally 5 kilometers of running). Both designations represent the recognition of the sporting and organizational quality of the Infinitri Sports events and are a step prior to becoming national championships in the future.

The two events are promoted mainly by the Castellón Provincial Council, who opted from the beginning for both tests, as well as for the collaboration of all the town councils involved with the objective of promoting tourism through sport, working closely with hotel establishments and tourism agencies, generating an occupation of more than 3000 accommodation places in the different events and an estimated economic impact of € 500.000.
