Five Spaniards at the ITU Paratriathlon Event in Detroit

On Sunday 16 August, the city of Detroit (USA) will live a new round of the ITU Paratriathlon Events 2015.

 

 

After the ITU Paratriathlon Events held in Iseo-FranciaCorta and in Rio de Janeiro, the Detroit event will be the third competition to award qualifying points for the debut of the Paratriathlon in the Paralympic Games of Rio in 2016.

In PT1 category we will have José Vicente Arzo; whereas in PT2 we will be represented by Lionel Morales. With them, Joaquín Carrasco will take the game in PT3 and Toni Franco y Rafael Solis they will do the same in PT4.

The competitions will take place at Belle Isle Park, very close to the downtown area of ​​the state of Michigan. A first sector of swimming 750 m on the Detroit River, will give way to 20 km cyclists who will pass by the vicinity of this emblematic park, concluding with two final laps (5 km in total) of running.
